Tara is the owner and also a stylist with Appearances. She attended college at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, TX and Macon Technical Institute in Macon, GA. Tara graduated cosmetology school in Macon, GA. She has been "in the business" for 16 years and is also a Redken Certified Haircolorist, Redkin Specialist and Redken Master Specialist!  Hair color is her passion and she continues her education to stay abreast of all the latest techniques and fashions.  In March she traveled to New York for her Color Certification test! 

An avid traveler, she loves the mountains of Montana & Wyoming and Nova Scotia. She and her husband love to ride motorcycles in the hills of Tenneessee.  Tara also has a passion for all creatures large and small, that includes horses, an Australian Sheppard named "Abbie, and  12 fish. 

Her son Denver has left home to attend University of Montana @ Missoula.  He promptly adopted two cats to keep him company.  She loves to spendtime with her husband of 25 years, family and friends and going to see her son!
